national lowercase day – a day for the small lower letter fonts. #lowercase #lowercaseday
national lowercase day

in the english language we use both upper case and lower case letters. before computers, graphic design was done with letter blocks.
back then for the press to print you had to lay out the letters on a space to get printed. all of the lower case letters, was in the lower drawer.
this day is held annually on the 14th of october.
did you know that e.e. cummings often wrote his poems all in lowercase and frequently omitted punctuation as well.
qwertyuiop
asdfghjkl
zxcvbnm
this blog post was hard to write with only lowercase letters. i had to stop and think a little more. unlike e.e. cummings i did use punctuation.
